Discover How TAI Techniques Work

TAI uses an innovative combination of meditation, visualization, and awareness exercises to help you achieve a state of inner harmony.

It is based on three factors:

  • Conscious attention to the three brains, connected by the vagus nerve;
  • The enunciation of specific phrases that act as commands for the mind-body system;
  • Focus on internal representations, the inner codes of the human being.

TAI utilizes the synergy of these practices to significantly accelerate the processes of identifying, updating, and transforming everything within the individual that represents a block or burden.

TAI is a process of gradual self-awareness and improvement, carried out in a simple and elegant way by following one’s inner path and identifying elements of one’s uniqueness.

The method is applied to images, thoughts, beliefs, experiences, and generally to any element that causes internal asymmetry or imbalance.

The internal mechanism of TAI, developed on the foundations of ancient knowledge and new insights, allows for the updating of everything in an individual’s perceptual horizon that is a source of stress and suffering, generating awareness, freedom, and lightness.

Example Sessions

In a typical TAI session, you will be guided through release exercises and visualization techniques to transform your internal representations.

Before performing a TAI® sequence, it is necessary to investigate your inner world to identify which internal representation causes the highest degree of stress/activation. This type of investigation is facilitated by the ability of self-observation, which is key to awareness work. In this preparatory phase, the model of meta-questions, an integral part of Neuro-Semantics (the discipline that studies how we create meanings in our mind-body system), helps distinguish the cause of discomfort (the activator) from the discomfort itself (the reaction). In preparation for practicing one (or more) TAI sequences, it is important to distinguish the REPRESENTATION from the REACTIONS.

The representation is generally expressed by one of the five senses; it is something we see, hear, feel, or even smell or taste. These characteristics may refer to something remembered, imagined, or thought.

Reactions are all those responses manifested at the physical, emotional, mental, and behavioral levels that would not occur if the representation did not exist.

When we investigate the reactions, we assess what happens at the physical level (sensations, symptoms, etc.), emotional level (fear, anger, sadness, etc.), mental level (thoughts, inner comments, ideas), and behavioral level (actions, avoidance). Once the representation causing the discomfort is identified, we move on to the actual practice by placing the hands and attention on the first Dantian (the abdomen) and pronouncing the specific phrase.

After its effect (which usually takes a few seconds), we move to the second Dantian (the heart plexus), where another predetermined phrase is pronounced to activate change.

Finally, we address the third Dantian (the Third Eye) with its intention phrase, completing a TAI sequence. Depending on the effects achieved, it is possible to proceed with a new sequence or integrate the obtained change.

Here’s what some of Andrea Fredi’s students say:

“

When I read about the opportunity to take a training course dedicated to helping professionals with Andrea, I immediately decided to contact him. For some time, I had felt the need to deepen my use of TAI. I work as a psychologist, and I had already integrated my work in the office with EFT initially, and later with TAI, focusing particularly on the latter, having noticed its potential – it’s like ‘a step ahead of EFT.’ It’s difficult to express in a few lines such a profound experience. The more I learned this technique, the more it led me to deep inner work – we started ‘full speed ahead’ right from the start! Over these months of work, I’ve had the chance to deepen my knowledge of a very powerful work tool and, at the same time, I’ve worked on myself to bring to the surface experiences and events that needed to be reworked, leading me to a state of greater well-being, awareness, and even abundance – indeed, in these months, my work has also increased. A summary of this experience is in a phrase exchanged with Andrea towards the end of the course, which went something like this: ‘You can take others where you’ve already been.’ This is a deep truth that I have personally tested in these months. I can only conclude by thanking Andrea for the passion, commitment, humanity, and professionalism with which he carries out his work!

Why choose to take the TAI practitioner course? When Andrea Fredi’s proposal to offer practitioner courses arrived, my innate curiosity led me to ask for more information. I was a bit hesitant; I wasn’t very keen on committing to another endeavor since I already had ongoing ones. I chatted with Andrea and decided to take the TAI course. I completed the path, becoming a practitioner, and I’d like to share my thoughts here on why I recommend it. The course is rich in content and is enriched along the way with Andrea’s new ‘discoveries,’ which he shares with you. It’s adaptable to your needs – tailor-made, you could say – in the sense that your acquired knowledge integrates with the new learnings. The one-on-one format is a winning approach: Andrea is flexible and open, and the lesson becomes not just theoretical but also practical; you interact, and the relationship becomes personal, developing empathy as you progress. It’s enjoyable to attend lessons, and you always leave feeling enriched. The possibility of spacing out the meetings is an added value that I find essential – it was the condition that allowed me to follow the course. I believe that as a helping relationship operator, it’s crucial to have multiple tools to use. TAI, in my opinion, is an indispensable technique. It’s effective, quick, simple to learn and propose, and at the same time, profound – by profound, I mean it combines ancient teachings with the latest scientific knowledge. I highly recommend professionals take this path. The TAI course is not just ‘a course’ in a technique; it’s a window into the future.
