FREEDOM THROUGH INNER ALCHEMY
Falling into the mechanical nature of life and losing self-awareness is one of the greatest truths humanity faces daily. This state of “sleepwalking” leads us to live automatically, disconnected from our deepest essence. It imprisons us in a routine where we merely exist on the surface, guided by a sensory mind that distances us from the rhythms of both internal and external nature. This prevents us from expressing ourselves authentically and embracing life with all its potential for Freedom, Love, Light, and Shadow.
I was there—stagnating in a mental whirlpool that I didn’t want to acknowledge but consciously knew I had to face. I wandered from teaching to teaching, hoping and believing that something or someone would break through to my heart. At the same time, I was following (and still do) the teachings of an esoteric school of self-knowledge, which increasingly responded to my need to understand how we humans function on the mental, physical, soul, and spirit planes. However, I lacked the practical, hands-on approach that I found with Inner Alchemy Techniques (TAI®).
Experiencing on my body the fullness, awareness, and amazement brought by the effectiveness of the method left me speechless. I realized that TAI® had been right in front of me all along, and only now was I seeing its potential and power. As my father used to say, “Everything comes in its due time.” And as the wise ones teach, wisdom cannot be understood solely through abstract concepts but must be experienced through an inner and personal process of the soul. Only by living the experience directly can we truly absorb and integrate it into our lives.
Thus, it is not about condemning humanity for not awakening, but rather about sparking the desire to become conscious and observe what is happening both within and around us. This allows us to plant a seed for a shift in consciousness, and even a small change can have a significant impact, surpassing many externally imposed rules.
TAI® is like a seed that has been planted and, following the example of its creator, it is growing, branching out, and developing within those who apply it, both for themselves and for others.
It is a daily practice that helps us regain clarity of thought, presence, self-awareness, and emotional education—valuable tools often lost in the frenzy of modern society, dominated by seemingly essential needs that, in reality, imprison us.
TAI® has many facets and a wealth of intervention tools, with a particular emphasis on meta-questions—a targeted approach for investigating disturbing internal representations. When applied, it’s almost like having “Lieutenant Columbo” attached to your ears, bringing forth memories and experiences with astonishing precision. This process requires you to “peel away” layer after layer, like peeling an onion, until you reach the core of the issue being “investigated” and re-align its energies.
TAI® is not just an energy technique but an intricate network of versatile actions that can be used in any situation of discomfort. It focuses on the three energy centers of the human body, also known as the “three brains.”
A shift in consciousness results from focusing on these energy centers after a round of TAI®. By changing our inner vibration, our perception of reality changes, and this is only possible through direct experience on the body.
These three centers are interconnected by the vagus nerve, which extends to the brain, making the harmonization of these three brains a powerful practice for our overall well-being.
The principles of TAI® are based on three elements:
- Conscious attention to the three brains (called Dantian), which are the portals to transformation;
- Focusing the power of intention through words, a deep and transformative process that requires trust and consistency;
- Transforming internal representations, events that crystallize in our unconscious.
For me, beginning this professional journey tailored to my needs, I’ve called it THE JOURNEY OF INNER ALCHEMY, as it’s a tool for inner growth that has proven effective even in my work within the helping relationship. With this tool, I feel guided toward a state of luminous awareness where body, mind, soul, and spirit merge in deep harmony. It has allowed me to rediscover my authenticity and confidence—better defined as personal power—and continue my inner exploration with joy and lightness. It’s a journey toward wholeness and awakening as a unique and unrepeatable Being connected to the All.
As a holistic practitioner and Existential Counselor with a body-centered approach, I am integrating TAI® with the SoulCollage® method, in which I am also a facilitator. SoulCollage®, created by American psychotherapist Seena Frost, is an inner exploration that uses images and collage to create a personal deck of cards. However, the most important exploration happens when you engage in dialogue with the images that awaken emotions, feelings, and memories within you, connecting to both personal and universal, archetypal experiences. TAI® becomes the final, core exploration of these two combined practices.
CASE STUDY: FREEDOM THROUGH INNER ALCHEMY
Maria, a 45-year-old woman, embarked on a journey of self-exploration with the goal of finding her path after a turbulent six-year relationship. She expressed a deep fear of loneliness and a feeling of incompleteness without a partner.
Throughout her work with Inner Alchemy Techniques, Maria went through several phases:
- Awareness of her needs
- Exploration of emotions and inner blocks
- TAI® Practice
- Revelation and Transformation
- Personal Integration and Growth
1st Session:
Maria came in directly, stating without hesitation that she wanted to understand her path—where she should go and what she should do. She felt very confused.
She talked about her past experiences with a sense of awareness, thanks to a personal growth journey she was following while still in a relationship. This journey had helped her find strength, but now, after the relationship ended, she found herself alone in a routine of work and home, feeling like she was at risk of falling into an endless void. She recognized that it was time for her to seek help.
Maria remained a woman eager to discover herself and was ready to embark on this inner journey.
After stating, “I want to find my path,” she mentioned her fear of loneliness, of not knowing where to go, and her need for a man to feel whole.
S: “Can you define this fear better? Where and how do you feel it? Is it something physical, or something you see or hear?”
M: “I feel a weight in my stomach.”
S: “How heavy is this weight in your stomach, from 0 to 10?”
M: “8.”
We started with a TAI® external round on the weight in her stomach. I explained how TAI® works and guided her through it.
S: “Repeat after me: ‘I take back my power and release the energy and all the information held in this weight in my stomach.’”
We completed the three steps, and at the end of the first round, Maria immediately recalled a childhood memory at her grandmother’s house in the countryside. She described a sense of abandonment and a deep fear of thieves.
I asked how the weight in her stomach felt, and she said it now felt like a tangled ball of fear.
We repeated the round:
- “I take back my power and release the energy held in this tangled fear in my stomach.”
- “I let go of all attachment and identification with the tangled fear I feel in my stomach.”
- “I create order and coherence in myself regarding the tangled fear in my stomach.”
Maria felt much better but said her legs felt heavy.
After a few more rounds, Maria reported feeling lighter, and her fear had decreased from an 8 to a 2. She felt more at peace.
Next Steps:
Maria continued to work with TAI®, exploring other themes as well. Through her feedback, she shared that TAI® was helping her reconnect with herself, making her problems and emotions feel less overwhelming. “Now, life feels lighter, and I can face challenges without feeling inadequate,” she said.
