TAI and Christmas Stress

Hi Andrea, I’m writing these few lines to tell you about a session with TAI.
One afternoon, a client, a young woman in her forties named Francesca, single and childless, arrived saying that she couldn’t stand—and in fact hated—the Christmas lunch, those big family gatherings with parents, uncles, and cousins where everyone laughs happily, but she perceived them as hypocritical and fake smiles. It was a week before Christmas, but she was already filled with anger and anxiety. I decided to work with her using the Inner Alchemy Techniques (TAI).
I had her focus on one of the most recent “Christmas lunch” experiences, asking her to recall it. Meanwhile, I asked what she was perceiving in her body, emotions, and what thoughts were emerging.
She replied that, physically, she felt a great emptiness in her stomach, anger, and anxiety as emotions, while her thoughts were filled with a strong desire to escape. The subjective intensity was 8.
We applied External TAI as per the manual, and already after the first round on the initial experience, her anger and anxiety had decreased from 8 to 5, and she perceived half of the people with genuine smiles. I continued with a second round, working on the beliefs that had generated her view of the Christmas lunch, and by the end of the TAI cycle, her perception had undergone a profound change. She no longer felt the emptiness in her stomach or the urge to escape. A slight anxiety and some residual anger remained, both of which disappeared with the third round. I concluded the session with the phrase, “I harmonize all my systems.”
We spoke again after Christmas, and she was very happy because what had been a nightmare for years was finally experienced with peace and serenity.

Thanks for listening, and I wish you a great end of the year. With affection, Paola.
