TAI and Family Constellations

TAI WITHIN FAMILY CONSTELLATIONS

After studying and applying Spiritual Family Constellations for years, I noticed that sometimes the person becomes stuck and unable to move to the next step in the Constellation. In search of a solution to resolve this gap, I came across the TAI (Techniques of Inner Alchemy) technique, which immediately piqued my interest, and I realized it was a powerful tool to address this blockage.

But what exactly is TAI?
It is a new, simple, and accessible inner transformation technique.
It works on events that a person experiences in a negative (or even positive) way, so intensely that they become “too” much. This “too much” can create “energetic knots” that remain suspended like space/time capsules until the person becomes aware (sometimes through Family Constellations), and through TAI, accesses the process of transformation. If this does not happen, these “energetic knots” remain suspended (known as “entanglement” in Family Constellations) and will likely reappear in some future generation, albeit with a bit less energy.

How does TAI work?
Through the placement of the hands on the three Dantians (or three brains), the first corresponding to the 2nd Chakra (four fingers below the navel), the second corresponding to the 4th Chakra (at heart level), and the third corresponding to the 6th Chakra (in the center of the forehead, aligned with the so-called third eye), the person is invited to breathe consciously, focus attention on the three energy centers, and recite phrases that serve to “solve” (dissolve the blocked energy) and “coagulate” (transform that same energy into awareness of a new state of consciousness).

TAI is characterized by its versatile usage.
There is External TAI, which works primarily on the representation of the unresolved event; there is Internal TAI, which focuses primarily on the energy contained in that representation; and finally, there is Laser TAI, which works almost surgically on the event to be transformed: representation, reaction, and the fragment of consciousness generated. Each of these techniques has phrases to be recited at the various Dantians.

How do I integrate TAI into Family Constellations?

During an individual Family Constellation session, I may initially apply TAI to bring the person to greater openness and awareness of the issue, which I then develop through the Constellation, concluding with TAI to process and transform any emotions still present in the Constellation Field (in this way, TAI strengthens the Constellation, and the Constellation strengthens TAI).
In a group session, I use TAI when the person becomes stuck in front of a strong event, and even with the Constellation phrases, there is no movement. In this case, I use External TAI with the representative in the field, allowing me to continue the work.
I can also use the healing phrases from Constellations in a TAI-only session (especially on the 2nd Dantian) to facilitate the transformation of the representation, emotion, or image that emerged.

If the client wishes to embark on a journey of life transformation, I offer them a view of their current state with what I call “the daisy,” which helps them understand the areas of their personality that they have not yet been able to express due to blocks and traumas that need to be dissolved and transformed. During this process, they learn to recognize and rediscover themselves in everything they lack to become a complete being.

FRANCESCA’S TRANSFORMATION FROM APATHY TO FREEDOM
WITH TAI AND FAMILY CONSTELLATIONS

Francesca, a 48-year-old client from Udine, came to me asking to work on her apathy and lack of perception. She told me that during meditations, she falls asleep and has few childhood memories. She is practically apathetic about everything, and everything seems to slide off her. Moreover, she does not feel fulfilled professionally.
In our initial conversation, she shared some intense events she remembers (e.g., the death of her 12-year-old sister in an accident, which she had already worked on in Constellation, and her very difficult and conflictual relationship with the masculine).
She got married at 35, and the marriage ended in separation, followed six months later by the death of her spouse.
At the same time, her father and brother Giacomo passed away.
Given the uniqueness of her case, I suggested a combination of TAI and Family Constellations.
To get a general picture of her current situation, I created “the daisy.”

Francesca was so apathetic that she couldn’t express herself in her personality. Many aspects of her life at this time seemed non-existent, and the areas where she did express herself were weak, just enough for her to survive.
At this point, I began the work with a few rounds of External TAI, focusing on what was preventing her from feeling/perceiving.
I had her recite the following phrases:

1st DANTIAN (hands crossed four fingers below the navel):
I take back my power and release the energy from anything that is preventing me from feeling/perceiving (and let the phrase take effect, asking her to take a deep breath with the intention of exhaling through her hands);
2nd DANTIAN (hands overlapped at heart level):
I let go of all identification and attachment to anything that is preventing me from feeling/perceiving (and let the phrase take effect);
3rd DANTIAN (two fingers in the middle of the forehead):
I create order and coherence in myself regarding what is preventing me from feeling/perceiving (and let the phrase take effect).

After the first round, nothing had changed.
I repeated a second general round, and at this point, the figure of her late husband, Claudio, appeared.
By placing her hands on the first Dantian, I asked her to describe what was in her perceptual field (scene/smell/color/song or phrase or sound).
Response: Sitting at the table, I’m looking at the cookie tin and telling my husband: I’m looking for a house to leave. (It wasn’t the first time she said this). He furiously replies: I’m going out. When I come back, I don’t want to see you here anymore.

I asked:

  1. What do you feel physically?
    R: Tight stomach, on a scale of 0 to 10: 9;
  2. Emotionally?
    R: Anger/pain, level 7;
  3. Rationally?
    R: Finally, I’m leaving (he’s the one kicking me out, and I don’t have to decide).

We did another round of TAI.

1st DANTIAN:
I take back my power and release the energy contained in this image, in this situation (and let it take effect);
2nd DANTIAN:
I let go of all identification and attachment to this image.
I had her recite Hellinger’s healing phrase: “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. I didn’t want this.”
3rd DANTIAN:
I create order and coherence in myself regarding this image.

I asked her how the scene had transformed.
Response:
1st Dantian: intense crying, rigidity, and a sense of nausea;
2nd Dantian: I felt a sense of peace arriving;
3rd Dantian: the sense of peace increased.

We did another round of TAI:

1st DANTIAN:
I take back my power and release the energy contained in this scene.
2nd DANTIAN:
I let go of all identification and attachment to this scene.
Added the Hellinger phrase: “because it no longer belongs to me.”
3rd DANTIAN:
I create order and coherence in myself regarding this scene.

At the end of this round of TAI, I asked her to describe how the scene had transformed:
1st Dantian: Her husband was no longer angry but resigned. She rated it 4 out of 10.
2nd Dantian: The image had fragmented. She rated it 2 out of 10.
3rd Dantian: There was no longer a scene. She rated it 1 out of 10.

I asked her to re-enter the episode, and she said it no longer acted on her, and she felt nothing.
I closed the work by having her bring her hands to her heart and recite the phrase: I harmonize all my systems with this new awareness and direct the available energy towards… she said: towards my inner peace.

2nd SESSION: We decided to continue working on her marital relationship.

I had her place her hands on the 1st Dantian and asked her to close her eyes and tell me what she perceived in her field when she thought about her marriage.
She replied: “Three words: MISTAKE, GROWTH, and GRATITUDE. And also my mother’s phrase, which kept echoing in my ear: the wife is the pillar that holds up three corners of the house.”
Her belief was that the marriage couldn’t be broken.
Her fantasy was that if she broke the marriage, her mother would no longer speak to her.

We worked with TAI on these words.

MISTAKE:
Physically: A sense of discomfort, chains binding her arms. She saw herself locked in the kitchen, unable to leave. Value: 7/8;
Emotionally: Anger, pain, disappointment. Value: 8;
Rationally: I could have avoided it. Value: 7.

After the complete round of TAI, I asked her to describe how the scene had transformed:
1st Dantian: Nothing had happened;
2nd Dantian: I’m freeing myself from the chains of my family of origin;
3rd Dantian: I’m taking control of my life.

As she described the transformation, she said that she finally perceived this:
Physically: She saw a flowered field;
Emotionally: The flowered field at 360°;
Rationally: Awareness of taking control of her life.

GROWTH:
After the first round of TAI, Francesca reported that:
At the 1st Dantian: She felt that slowly all the negative sensations were dissolving into the universe;
At the 2nd Dantian: A spiral of light was trying to enter her from the crown of her head;
At the 3rd Dantian: This light was asking her to let it in.

GRATITUDE:
After the first round of TAI, everything was much more open and easy for Francesca.
She reported that:
At the 1st Dantian: She was inside the marital home but couldn’t find her place;
At the 2nd Dantian: She hugged the house, thanked it, and left because she felt it no longer belonged to her;
At the 3rd Dantian: She was free from the house and the marriage.

We did another round of TAI on the belief and the fantasy.
In the end, she said that she felt liberated from the belief that the wife holds up three corners of the house. And, consequently, her mother’s fantasy of not speaking to her no longer acted on her because she understood that staying in the marriage was only a betrayal of herself.
Physically: She felt free.
Emotionally: She felt joy and openness.
Rationally: She said: It served me, and that’s okay.

We concluded the second session with her hands over her heart and the phrase: I harmonize…

3rd SESSION: I proposed a Constellation for Francesca to work on her grief.

We set up the Constellation using anchors for her sister, brother, pain, anger, husband, and sadness, as well as herself, of course.
On her anchor, she felt nausea and the urge to escape. I had her do a round of External TAI, reciting the following phrases:

1st Dantian:
I take back my power and release the energy held in this urge to escape and this sense of nausea;
2nd Dantian:
I let go of all identification and attachment to all this;
3rd Dantian:
I create coherence in myself regarding all this.

She remained on her anchor, and the Constellation continued. She felt less nauseous.
After reciting Hellinger’s healing phrases, she let go of her sister and brother, along with the pain.
Remaining in the field were anger, her husband, and sadness, positioned at her sides.
At this point, Francesca expressed a fierce, powerful anger that made her tremble.
I decided to use Internal TAI:
1st Dantian: I draw from the energy held in this anger and guide it to my center (I gave her the image of an alembic containing the energy of her anger, and she was dragging it with her hands towards the 2nd Dantian);
2nd Dantian: I align this energy with the frequency of my soul (she continued dragging the energy towards the 3rd Dantian);
3rd Dantian: I direct this energy towards (desired goal…).

After this practice, the anger decreased from 10 to 5.
I decided to have her repeat the Internal TAI round, and by the end, she felt drained of all anger (down from 5 to 2).
This work with Internal TAI allowed her to continue the Constellation, to face her husband, to embrace him in her heart, and finally, to let him go.
Now she, too, moves towards life, her new life (Internal TAI strengthened the Constellation, allowing it to be completed).
We closed with the harmonization…

4th SESSION: Francesca told me that she felt much more focused on herself and now wanted to look at her job, which she found unfulfilling and prevented her from realizing what she was finally expressing. As we talked, she said that she felt imprisoned and added: not just by her job, but also by her elderly mother, who needed care.

We worked immediately with TAI.
With her hands on the first Dantian, I asked: What do you feel or see in your perceptual field?
Physically: I feel a weight on my back (on a scale of 0 to 10: 8);
Emotionally: Anger, they are taking away my freedom (on a scale of 0 to 10: 7);
Rationally: I’m tired, time is slipping away (on a scale of 0 to 10: 8).

1st Dantian: I release the energy…
2nd Dantian: I let go…
3rd Dantian: I create order…

At the end of this round, I asked her to describe how the scene had transformed:
1st Dantian: A winged horse arrived and stopped in the school atrium;
2nd Dantian: The winged horse moved to her mother’s house;
3rd Dantian: Slowly, the winged horse left.

I repeated a second round, and the scene transformed as follows:
At the 1st Dantian: The mother, who had been lying on the sofa, sat up;
At the 2nd Dantian: I saw her rejuvenated;
At the 3rd Dantian: I consolidated this image, and the mother got up and went out into the garden.

At this point:
Physically: The weight on her back dropped from 8 to 2;
Emotionally: The anger and sense of being imprisoned remained, and she added: I want to escape, but I can’t;
Rationally: I want time to pass quickly, for it to be over…

I immediately started another round of TAI:
I asked what she saw or felt in her perceptual field: The black dashboard of a family friend’s car that was driving her home.
Physically: I feel his hands touching me (value: 9);
Emotionally: I feel shame, disgust, a sense of imprisonment, I can’t move (value: 10);
Rationally: I want to get out of the car, and I want my freedom (value: 9).

1st Dantian: I release the energy… She began trembling, stomping her feet, and crying. She had difficulty repeating the phrase;
2nd Dantian: I let go… The scene remained unchanged;
3rd Dantian: I create maximum order… Still, nothing had changed.

I continued the work with a round of Internal TAI to process the strong emotions that were still present:
1st Dantian: I draw from the energy contained in this emotion and image and guide it to my center;
2nd Dantian: I align this energy with the frequency of my soul;
3rd Dantian: I direct this energy towards… (she said: my liberation).
Francesca began to calm down, even in her physical expressions, and said that the emotional charge had dropped to 5.

At this point, I decided to also use EFT, working on the meridian points.
I started with the Karate point and the phrase: Even though I lived through this event and left a fragment of myself there, I release the energy contained in it and guide it to my center.
I continued with all the points of the meridian technique.

At the end, she told me that the image she saw was that of a film strip where she cut the fragment of the scene, eliminating it and stitching the before and after together, seeing herself calm and happy in the car on her way home.

I concluded the session with the phrase: I harmonize all my systems with this new awareness and direct the available energy towards… and she said: my highest good.
Francesca is now aware that her work is not finished, but she has certainly dissolved her apathy and can finally visualize images during meditations.
She is living more peacefully and lightly, has begun creating small new projects for her life, is receiving work-related recognition from her boss, and her mother even called to tell her that her constant daily presence is not needed.

After processing the events that most conditioned her and the strong emotions connected to them with TAI and Constellations, she is completely transformed and has rediscovered some hidden aspects of her personality, though she is aware that there will still be episodes to process.

Of course, TAI within Constellations can also be applied to fears, blocks, small painful events, and anything that promotes positive change at all levels of the person.
Personally, I also apply it during group Constellation days.
