TAI and the fear of public speaking

EVERYTHING I WANTED TO SAY BUT NEVER DARED

My name is Grazia, I am a nurse and have been working in health care for more than thirty years.

During my professional life I have witnessed a great deal of suffering and, many times, I have seen lives improved—or even saved—by conventional medicine; other times, despite all the efforts of doctors and nurses, I have watched life slip away.

Having to deal with end‑of‑life situations and chronic illnesses, together with my desire to give more in those moments, brought me close to holistic medicine, with the aim of adopting a total‑person approach rather than focusing only on the body.

For that reason I attended a Reiki school in Turin, where I reached the third level and later became a Reiki practitioner.

It has now been ten years that I practice Reiki daily, both on myself and on my elderly parents.

Moreover, while practicing Reiki on terminal patients I noticed an improvement in their emotional state.

A few years ago, following a personal‑growth channel, I came across an EFT course by Andrea Fredi.

The simplicity and enthusiasm with which he explained both the theory and the practice intrigued me so much that I started following him on his various social channels and doing the exercises he proposed, eventually enrolling in the Academy TAI – Inner Alchemy Techniques training.

The Inner Alchemy Techniques taught by Andrea Fredi are suited for people who, as my mentor says, are ready for awakening.

TAI is a technique devised by Andrea Fredi to rebalance the energetic systems by concentrating attention on the three “brains” or Dantians (located below the navel, in the chest, and in the head), thereby releasing frozen space‑time capsules that, if left unprocessed, can trigger physical, mental, etc., problems.

These capsules are not eliminated; they are updated—cleansed of old systems and beliefs.

By focusing on the problem and using the power of intention, the technique allows us to de‑structure the issue and give a new shape to the experience (Solve et coagula).

Andrea Fredi’s professionalism and skill, constantly supporting his students through the difficulties that arise when working on oneself, are extraordinary.

Practical Case

A friend told me she is afraid of speaking in public and cannot overcome it.

While she spoke, I sensed some anger, so I suggested trying some energetic techniques that, in my opinion, work well in similar situations.

I explained what TAI (Inner Alchemy Techniques) is, what the centers used are—the three brains/Dantians—and where they are located.

She agreed to follow the path.

I guided her to become aware of her breath and asked her to follow my voice and relax.

To start moving energy, I performed a round of SET (Simple Energetic Techniques) to stimulate the meridians.

At the end of the round I asked whether anything had emerged in her perceptual horizon that might bother her—a voice, an image, a smell.

She recalled that as a child, when her parents argued, her mother did not simply endure the insults and shouting but reacted, asserting her point of view. Unfortunately, this escalated the tone of the argument, and in Anna’s (fictional name) mind the belief formed that it is better to stay silent.

These fantasies, linked to Anna’s childhood experiences, grew stronger each time she encountered a domineering person; she would shut down and withdraw.

I began my detective work with meta‑questions.

When I asked what she sees in her perceptual horizon, she replied that she visualized the mother fighting with the father.

I then asked her to describe her sensations. She said her jaw felt locked, and indeed I noticed that even when she spoke her mouth moved very little.

When I asked what emotion she was feeling, she answered “fear.”

I probed the intensity of the stress on a scale of 1–10; it came out as 8.

I guided her through a TAI round focused on Fear.

We formulated the opening phrase:

“I AM SOURCE.”

This phrase helps us become conscious and grounded.

She placed her hands on the first Dantian (just below the navel), kept attention on that center, and I pronounced the first sentence:

“I reclaim my power and release the crystallised energy of Fear and everything it represents for me.”

Next she moved her hands to the second Dantian at heart level, and I said:

“I let go of every identification and attachment to Fear and everything it represents for me.”

Finally, she brought breath and attention to the third eye/third Dantian, and I uttered the third sentence:

“I generate order and coherence within me regarding my Fear and everything it represents for me.”

At the end of the first round Anna’s eyes were watery and she began yawning repeatedly, so I performed another round.

She continued yawning and her eyes became ever clearer.

Through meta‑questions a phrase from a few days earlier surfaced, spoken by Anna’s dentist: “This is medicine, not nonsense!” (she interpreted it as the dentist saying “You don’t know who I am; you must do exactly what I say without contradicting me.”)

She felt humiliated.

Stress intensity remained at 8 and her jaw felt even more locked.

I guided another TAI round targeting the auditory phrase. The yawns kept releasing and moving energy.

Returning to my investigative work with meta‑questions inspired by Andrea Fredi’s training, it emerged that Anna does not feel respected because she has internalised the belief that bullies have more power, so it is safer to stay silent even when her ideas are correct.

Continuing with TAI, we discovered that her memories/experiences—specifically the childhood conditioning from parental fights—have reinforced the conviction that “it is better to stay silent.”

Frozen space‑time capsules began to appear for Anna:

  • Fantasies: “fear of failing at work / of not being respected”
  • Beliefs: “I’m not good enough, I don’t deserve happiness”

At this point I switched to the triangle model, which works on three macro‑areas. Imagine the person inside a triangle; each side holds themes that can be memories, fantasies, or beliefs. We start with the side that, via meta‑questions, shows the highest stress index.

I began with the memory “it is better to stay silent,” as it seemed the most intense crystallised energy.

I reclaim my power and release the crystallised energy in the auditory memory “it is better to stay silent.”
I let go of every identification and attachment to that auditory memory.
I generate order and coherence within me regarding that auditory memory.

I kept probing with meta‑questions to see whether the capsules were updating. After several rounds on each triangle side, noticing movement of energy, I concluded with the fourth harmonising phrase, placing the hands on the heart:

“I harmonise all my systems with this new awareness and the changes underway.”

A few days later we scheduled another meeting. After a SET round, anger emerged toward the dentist and toward people who act superior and disrespect others.

Using meta‑questions I explored whether Anna visualised the dentist’s image and what sensations it evoked in mind and body, and again asked for the numerical stress rating.

Given the description of a throat knot and a stress level of 8, we performed a TAI round on anger. After two rounds the intensity lowered slightly, so we added a Reiki technique to check for further improvement. We agreed to meet again after a few days.

Three days later, another TAI session showed Anna’s face already more relaxed; she reported that the throat knot had lightened.

Conclusion: The various space‑time capsules updated, bringing the stress index down to 3.

I advised her to continue autonomous TAI rounds using the sentences I sent, and to contact me if any issues arise.

For me, the Alchemy Technique is continuously evolving; the more I practice, the greater the results, even on problems the unconscious tries to hide but still generates stress.

I have verified on myself that dedicating just a few minutes each day, consistently, yields very satisfying outcomes.
